On August 13, 2024, at the office of Viet Land Investment Consulting And Construction Corporation (VILANCDO), a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between VILANDCO – VGBA and Zero Carbon smart Building Center (ZCB Center), marking the cooperation between the two parties on training and research development to promote carbon neutrality in Vietnam.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Sungho Tae, director of ZCB Center, Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, director of VILANDCO & VGBA, along with representatives of VILANDCO and experts and lecturers of VGBA.
With this memorandum of understanding, the two parties will cooperate on technology consulting and Zero Carbon Building Certification training to realize the goal of carbon neutrality in the construction industry, technical cooperation and development of carbon neutrality assessment programs for the entire construction process (STEP-B, BEST, Oneclick LCA, etc.). In addition, the two companies also agreed to exchange information and technology related to global carbon neutrality such as ESG, RE100, LOTUS, G-SEED, Zero Carbon Building, and cooperate in organizing training programs on low-carbon technology.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding promises to open up a positive development path for both parties, while aiming at the goal of carbon neutrality and promoting the introduction of Zero carbon projects into the Vietnamese market.
