Continuing the training and capacity building activities for personnel of BM WINDOWS, after the course “Green Building – Energy simulation and building performance analysis” organized by VILANDCO-VGBA in November/ 2023. On April 26 and May 3, 2024, with confidence in the training quality of VGBA-VILANDCO, the course “Green Materials and Facade in Green Building” was conducted with lecturers who are experts. LEED green building experts, energy efficient buildings from VGBA, construction materials experts from INSEE and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
Coming to the course, students will learn about green buildings, green materials, LEED requirements for materials, energy efficient building solutions, as well as material labels. Green materials: Green Label, EPD, etc. Information about carbon contained in the project, implementation steps, life cycle impact assessment (LCA) and illustrative examples, help learners better understand LCA – a useful method but still quite new to construction projects in Vietnam today.
At the end of the course, students review, take a test and receive a certificate of course completion.
