Continuing the activities in the Cooperation Agreement between the Faculty of Architecture – Van Lang University and VILANDCO. On May 12, 2023, Vilandco & VGBA organized the “DesignBuilder – Energy simulation software experience day” for students with the enthusiastic support of the teachers of Van Lang University’s Faculty of Architecture.
The event was held with 65 student registrations and 26 of those completed the DesignBuilder energy simulation contest to analyze the passive design for a real building. Students learn and use software to analyze sun & shading charts, analyze solar radiation & temperature on the surface of walls and roofs, and analyze natural lighting for buildings…
The result of the contest is so amazing that 14 students from 3 teams getting first, second, and third prizes received a scholarship to continue to participate in the free Designbuilder course organized by Vilandco & VGBA and a voucher to participate in the DesignBuilder advanced course.
Although time went so fast, it also helped them have practical experiences for accessing software and analytical skills are the basic foundation for students to be able to orientate, learn and improve their knowledge, apply for graduation projects, and also prepare to improve job opportunities in the future.
